In Network Marketing Don't Pay Attention the Crazy Person Waving Their Hands at You!

Have you ever watch a basketball game. When one of the players
of a visiting team gets a free throw… what does the crowd do?
They make a lot of noise and if you are seated right behind the
basket you wave everything and anything you have in hopes you
can distract the player from making that basket.

Have you ever felt that way in your network marketing business?
You finally have started with a great company, great product,
and you even have studied how to market your new business the
right way… online. You have set time aside on your schedule
every week to promote your business online.

However, every time you are scheduled to start working on your
very own home-based business, everyone wants your attention!
Your spouse needs you to go pick some groceries up, your friends
want you to go out and play a round of golf with them, your kids
need to be taking to soccer practice on a different night, and
the phone doesn't stop ringing. Do you ever feel like every one
is waving their hands at you to get your attention off your goal
to finally own your own successful business that gives you the
time freedom you always dreamed about?

By the time the week rolls around you still have not done what
you wanted to do online to promote your new business, and now
you are another week without any sales.

Sound familiar?

Many of us home business owners go through this. Time
management is one of the worst things we need help with. There
are so many distractions throughout the day, don't you ever feel
like nothing of value got accomplished that day? I know I have!

I was listening to some training online this last week and I
learned a time management technique so great I had to share it
with everyone. This thing is so simple that you are going to
think sure why did I not think of it? In reality it is still
not that the idea is so great is that you need to implemented in
your daily routine so that it is part of what you do. That is
the only way you wont feel like everyone is waving at you trying
to catch your undivided attention.

O.K. here it is… When you are going to start working let
everyone know that you are indeed going to be working and that
you do not want to be disturbed for the next two hours! Then
turn off the ringer on your phone, turn off the sound on your
email program. What ever you do, don't answer the phone or read
any emails for those two hours. These are your productive hours.

"What no phones?" "I have to answer my emails right away!"

No you don't! The world is not going to come to an end, and no
emergency is hardly ever that important!

At the end of the two hour stretch, answer any important
emails, return any calls, and go kiss your spouse and kids for
being so supportive. Once you have done this, again start
another two hour stretch of no interruptions. You will keep up
with the rest of your life, but the rest of your life will not
get in the way of progress!
